Who is Manhattan Transfer
Having been called one of the slickest vocal groups in the business, Manhattan Transfer made its mark cultivating tight four-part harmonies and some of the most impressive vocal calisthenics ever recorded. Their music spans the full musical landscape from doo-wop to be-bop, from jazz to swing.
In 1981, they became the first group ever to win Gammy Awards in both the Pop and Jazz categories in the same year. With an active career spanning over 40 years including 20 Grammy nominations and 10 wins, Manhattan Transfer is one of the most important and influential vocal groups in the history of popular music.

Who We Are
These four amazing singers form the group, Corner Pocket. With their smooth, rich vocal blend, and signature energetic style, they bring intricate harmonies to life through their dynamic and innovative arrangements. Inspired by such influential vocal groups as The Manhattan Transfer and the New York Voices, they perform a repertoire of Jazz, Big Band, and Swing. Some tunes are sung A Cappella and some are joined by their stellar 3-piece band comprised of Charlie Weller (drums), Harley Magsino (bass), and Tobin Chodos (piano). Together they deliver a show that's sure to impress!
